The project started in 2007. After an analysis
judicious and wide-ranging approach to the world scenario due to the high rate
of technological demands and increases, the founders of
Grupo SAM decided to start operating in the sector by requesting
with the DNPM (National Department of Mineral Production)
the right to survey areas with a history of mineral occurrences.
Thus, a technical team is set up to prepare the plans
of research and requirements of the areas, starting with the
acquisition of rights to a Tantalita application in Amazonas.
Subsequently, 3 more areas were acquired in nearby regions, targeting other minerals, including gold, diamond
and niobium.
